Poem: Strong Baby

You think I do not remember.

That I do not think about the way you move.

The way you make the earth shake with every step you take.

Backbones so strong that man dare not speak.

The lust in you eyes that drip to your lips.

Water falls from the sky, yet you stay dry as if it misses you.

The scent you leave as you walk by makes me think is this heaven.

No, it just the joy that leaves as you think about me.

The eyes never lie, but yours have told all your secrets.

You are strong, and no one can tell you no.

You were strong, and now nobody will ever be able to tell you so.

These are the things that I miss as I say goodbye.
