Movie Review: Fences(2016)

This was the last movie that I saw in theaters, and I went by myself and was just in awe of what I was seeing. The acting in this movie was some of the best that I have ever seen. Fences is a play by August Wilson about the 1950’s, about a black family. Wilson had set out to write a play about the black experience from every decade in the 20th century. Viola Davis and Denzel Washington gave some of the best performance I have seen that I still watch twice a day. This movie made me want to be an actor. The most important thing about this movie is just the writing and storytelling. If you want to be a writer watch this or read the play. This will give you hope that you can write something like this one day. I did for me.

Movie Review: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf

This movie must be in the top 5 movies that I love. The story, the acting, and just the writing itself. This is the type of story I would love to tell one day. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton are at their best here. This is acting. You must watch this I do not care what you think of them, you must watch this movie. Mike Nichols did a great job.
