Poem: Hope Light

The rain is falling and not a light is in sight.

Wishing that the heart ache of today will soon dry away.

The rain is picking up, and the water has now covered your feet.

You start to panic, and your knees go weak.

The winds are pushing you back and forth, but you never buckle.

The rain is no longer your friend, and the storm is starting to become a struggle.

Then a light appears within the distance.

It is far and dim, but it shines as far as you can see.

As your knees starts to tumble to your feet.

A strength appears, and you become less weak.

You move closer to the light, and it starts to grow bright.

You see something that you never have before, hope.

You take a step at a time, and as the light draws near.

He says this is not it my child.

This is only a test.

Fight with all your might and let me do the rest.

Poem: Skyfall

The time of day that I have miss are the ones where we rest.

The days where we let the sky tell us time.

We would sit on the swing and not say a word.

Everything that needs to be spoken is said in the quietness as the sun rises.

The fights would end as we sit.

Nights come and fade, but the daybreak is what gave us dreams.

Dreams that we were living became nightmares from our past.

Thinking about the time when we met to times when we were apart.

When we count the days the sun would rise, and when the nighttime fall.

Now those times are back again.

This time we do not have return date.

The sun still rises, but one of us no longer do.

Poem: Mystery

The tide is shifting.

The winds are high.

The thought of you laying by my side is the only thing I can see.

The only thing that makes feel alive.

The storm is getting closer, and trees are falling at our feet.

I keep wondering is this the day we learn that love never is a mist.

The only thing I can do is just stare at your mystery.

I wonder what this is.

The mystery that has kept me captivated for many years.

That has now suddenly disappeared slowly.

I no longer wonder about you.

I get to lead with you.

I get to chase with you.

Most importantly I get to love you.

This is the only mystery that is left.

I will never know why.

I am willing to search for the rest of my life if it is with you.

Poem: Half-Full

Painting the scene of the last time.

The time you tried your hardest to remember.

You also try your hardest to forget it ever existed.

A place that is stuck in your mind, but you can never say where.

The life that is caught between this one and that one.

Is the destination that you must figure out how to choose.

The world of wonder lives withing the lust of losing.

Trying so hard to stay and please that everything around you start to crumble.

Thinking about the way the water is moving, but you are standing still.

Looking for ways to give you hope, but you are trap in between the two places.

One that is full of hope and sorrow.

The other full of dreams and burdens.

You must pick, but each one has the glass half-full.
